Within this video are examples of the different types of ideas and thoughts that I had produced for the final degree show catalogue. I have modelled a train carriage/ tube carriage as it translates to the title well (Buy The Ticket Ticket Take The Ride), as this relates nicely to the students of Middlesex university fine art course as most of us live close and around the London environment and that the show will be held within London. Within this section I will be discussing the different types of techniques and processes that I have made to produce these renders.
For starters I have modelled the train carriage, as I had only had to do the one as I can uses the effectors within Cinema 4D to produce more of these to create a full tube/train. The renders above have been produced by using the cloner effect to create the full train carriage and then another cloner to produce these effects I have used the radial clone that produces clone is a circle an spherical manner, this can be in different alignments that create very different effects such as the bottom and top video showing the same cloning radial but different alignments.
Within the render below and the render stills above I have produced a simple effect of using the cloner to produce a full train and then a few simple key frames to pull the train past the camera. This gives a similar type of effect of a tube carriage speeding past you coming at a distance and firing right past you. I have also produced a vibrant sky to contrast nicely with the bright colours on the carriage, here I have used the physical sky lighting that can be set to a perfect time and date producing the perfect lighting.
Here above and below are examples of an effect I was working on with the final rendered animation of the spinning helix example that was mentioned above. To produce this effect I had worked on the render from Cinema 4D and brought in the video file in another creative software Premier Pro. Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing app developed by Adobe Systems and published as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud licensing program. Within this programme I wanted to edit the video in different way that I couldn’t do in the cinema 4d programme, such as changing the video layout and colour. As the video plays you can see the videos and trains merging into each other creating the full visual colour that once where there within the middle of the video where all the colours collide into one and other, similar to an colour spectre wheel.
With all the examples above these where all made with the purpose of showing a team of tutors and classmates within the publication comity to produce a design for the gallery catalogue. Theses designs where to help bring an idea and aesthetic thoughts to the group to discuses this further to produce a final design, such as graphics throughout the book, ideas of the theme of the underground and sticking with the agreed title though our class mates and accompanying artist for the exhibition: Buy The Ticket Take The Ride.
