Finally completed the mini-game!

Central Cavern was written by Kev Ellis ©2020 inspired by the first level of the 1983 ZX Spectrum Classic, Manic Miner by Matthew Smith.
I wrote a brief blog as I developed Central Cavern, you can read it at https://www.kevssite.com/central-cavern/ along with news of any updates.

Made using these fantastic open-source software projects (pun intended!): Godot, Blender, Gimp and Audacity.

The title music is an extract from a 1936 recording of Johann Strauss’s Blue Danube played by Finnish orchestra Rytmi-Pojat, directed by Eugen Malmstén.

The in-game music is an extract from Edvard Grieg’s Hall of the mountain King recorded by Kevin MacLeod. I trimmed the track and adjusted some of the volume levels to make it suitable for in-game looping.
