Keratoconus is a bilateral ectatic disorder with central or paracentral corneal thinning that results in protrusion of the central cornea with a cone-like configuration. Depending upon the size and shape of the cone, the keratoconus is of three types: Nipple cone has a small size and steep curvature. Oval cone is larger and ellipsoid in shape. Globus cone is very large and globe like. keratoconus pathology is explained in detail.
