This song by Heart should definitely be on some Top Ten best of the 70’s or at least best of the mid-70’s list. The first time I ever heard it my reaction was along the lines of “Wow, what am I hearing?” “Crazy On You” more than any other Heart song completely swept me away. There would be more, much more to come, all songs I would love, like “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” and “Straight on,” but this one would be difficult to better or best. Nancy Wilson’s acoustic guitar intro alone, very complex and energetic, made this hit single one of a kind.

I have done a combined synchronization from a live concert and dramatization of certain verses and one chorus for this video, similar to my treatment of Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain.” However, the messages in this video run much deeper than relationships although involving relationships as well.

“Crazy On You,” track 3 from Dreamboat Annie, was released as a single in April 1976. It peaked at #35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #40 on Cash Box on June 12, 1976.
