NASA Mars Rover challenge.

The Demo challenge was to develop software so that the Mars Rover can
autonomously operate mapping a Mars scene provided by the gaming company
Unity.

The Demo challenge was to get the robot up to a good speed, don’t bump, and
don’t get stuck.

Plus, the robot has to detect Mars Stones, approach them, and pick them
up. The robot does not know where the stones are located in the environment.

The Demo challenge was to find all 5 stones while mapping the entire scene
(with high-fidelity) in the shortest time possible.

The screen (in the video) on the lower left is what the robot sees (its
camera) while the output on top left is all the real-time control stats.
On the right is the control window for the mapping and the rocks
