UPDATE 6 (4:30 p.m.): Apologies, we have again lost audio as a result of issues with the source camera, which belongs to the news station serving as pool station.
UPDATE 5 (2:00 p.m.): We have momentarily lost the pool feed because the pool station stopped feeding it out.
UPDATE 4 (1:55 p.m.): We apologize as audio issues continue. The pool camera which supplies the video to all news stations is, we’re told, the source of the problem. We unfortunately are not the station responsible for this pool camera – the Court appoints that – and have no direct ability to fix the problem at its source. We will do our best to communicate updates.
UPDATE 3: (12:20 p.m.): Our feed has cut out, as we anticipate it coming back once proceedings have relocated to the new courtroom.
UPDATE 2 (11:30 a.m.): We’ve received word part of the problem with the audio is that there is a technical issue INSIDE the courtroom, and that they are moving courtrooms, which is why there has been a significant delay.
We expect the video feed to cut out momentarily as they change rooms.
UPDATE: There is not yet audio coming in from this court proceeding, it will go live when the judge begins proceedings.
Court is back in session for members of Young Slime Life (also known as YSL) accused of gang activity in a RICO case.
The latest hearing arrives a day after Gunna was released from jail following a plea deal. The particular type of plea – an Alford plea – allows him to maintain his innocence even as he accepts a guilty outcome in his case, which included one charge to violate RICO.
Gunna said in a statement that, as part of his plea deal, he had made no agreement to have any involvement in the trial or provide any testimony.
