I have now uploaded the restorative session from this morning which was designed to release tension from the head neck and shoulders. There were some movements that help us explore the relationship between the upper and lower body and how we can move our arms to avoid pain in the shoulders.
Remember you can always skip to the end and just do the relaxation or you can leave out the relaxation all together if that is what suits.
We finish with a body scan at the end of this session.
We start with a Qi Gong inspired flow to warm up the body and develop a better mind body connection. It includes spiraling movements that target that upper body. This is followed by a seated sequence and some trigger point release exercises.
You will want some massage balls, tennis balls or a yoga block or rolled up blanket.
We have a few options with our soft furnishing, bolster or pillows as well.
We will work a little on sensing movements which helps in pain management and all round better experiences when moving.
